At the age of 16, Rev. Jai Mahtani was converted from Hinduism to Christianity at Singapore. A year later he felt the call to serve as minister of the gospel (his history). He was ordained and installed as minister of the gospel in Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church in Singapore in October of 1986. He was called later to the Protestant Reformed Church in Houston, Texas (1993). In 1998 he accepted the call to serve as home-missionary of the Protestant Reformed Churches in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2005 he accepted the call from Bethel Protestant Reformed Church, Roselle, IL.
