     A. At Pentecost, the feast of firstfruits, the church matures, comes of age as she received the Spirit.
     B. When this happened, the church was baptized of the Spirit. This is John's prophecy in our text.

                                      "BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT"
I. The Meaning

     A. On Pentecost, the Spirit was poured out on the church
